Why this blog is worth your time: The simple and surreal "summation" of the ironic, the frustrating and the problematic, allows us to see things "as they really are". No matter how frustrating, ironic, or problematic, seeing it all summed up in a stupid little surreal cartoon (at the artistic level of a seven year old) seems to put everything in perspective. This is a good thing. When people get neurotic, stressed or just simply start "going off" they are often losing perspective on the actual size of the situation, event, or problem. Returning to earth in a calmer and more grounded perspective ultimately makes life more livable.
Not every cartoon will be about some high level issue, but the benefits from gaining a "cartoon perspective" will still be there.
How this blog will run: In general, each post will contain a comic, and then something that goes with it (a story, analysis, or something else). Sometimes the "something else" that goes with the cartoon, is added a little later. Just one more reason to check back on old posts.
